FAQs

Questions we get asked before the first cheque.

Are you an advisor or a distributor?
We are an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor (ARN-130953). We select and execute regular-plan mutual fund investments and are compensated by trail commission from the asset management company. We do not charge you an advisory fee, and we are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
What does it cost me?
Nothing beyond the expense ratio of the schemes you hold. There is no onboarding fee, no platform fee, and no exit charge from us. Our trail commission is embedded in the regular plan and disclosed on every statement we send.
Where does my money actually go?
Directly to the asset management company. Payments move from your bank account to the AMC through BSE StAR MF; funds never sit in an Invest Swami account. Units are held in your own folio, in your name.
What is the minimum to start?
₹5,000 a month for a SIP mandate, or ₹2 lakh as a lump sum. Portfolio reviews for existing folios start at ₹25 lakh of investible assets.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes. Your folios are yours. You can change your distributor code, switch to direct plans, or redeem entirely without our permission. We will help you transition and give you a written handover of holdings.
How often will I hear from you?
A written review twice a year, a quarterly performance statement, and your advisor on WhatsApp when something needs a decision. We do not send daily market commentary.

Still deciding?

Forty minutes on what the money is for. If we are not the right fit, we say so in that call.
